‘Today’ Al Roker Shares Emotional Tribute To 22 Yr-Old Son
Today’s Al Roker made a sentimental post to celebrate Nick’s 22nd birthday. Al was there to commemorate the birthday with a series of photos that looked back at Nick’s growth and maturity over the years.

Al Roker Celebrates Son’s Birthday With Photos
Al Roker, 69, has three kids, and one of them just celebrated a birthday. He has a daughter, Courtney, with his ex-wife Alice Ball and two kids, Nick and Leila, with his wife, Deborah Roberts. On July 18, his son Nick just turned 22. Al showed his pride with a photo gallery post on social media.
The photos included a series of photos of Nick, as the young man was growing up. The first is a pic of Nick as a toddler, followed by him as a little boy with Al, as a pre-teen on a boat with his dad, as a teen at a baseball game, as a young man sitting by his dad, and a more current one with Nick on a beach.
With the photos, Al wrote, “Seems like just yesterday this beautiful boy came into our lives but #justlikethat Nick is 22 years old. #happybirthday my young man.”
Nick is Al’s youngest child, at 22. Leila is 25, and Courtney is 37. He is also a grandfather (a “pop-pop”) to Courtney’s daughter Sky Lara, who was born in 2023. At the time, he said that he is letting his own kids decide on their own parenting style and he isn’t interfering. “You can gently suggest things and your kids can take that and use it or not. And once you’ve given that advice, you have to let it go,” he said (via PEOPLE).
However, when it comes to raising his kids, he seems to be proud of his job with Nick.

While Al Roker is 69, and his youngest son is now 22, fans don’t need to worry about him riding off into the sunset anytime soon. Al said after his recent medical problems, he is out walking and staying active. His wife, Deborah, said that neither of them plans to retire anytime soon as they still love what they do.

Al is such an inspiration to all, I have watched the Morning Show so long i think they are Family. Kicks my day off in good fashion. Now that i am retired i can enjoy the full Show. Carry on my people ,you truley touch alot of lives.
