‘Below Deck Med’ Joe Bradley’s NSFW Reveal Has Scripted Vibes?

Joe Bradley - Below Deck Med - Bravo

Below Deck Med Season 9 premiered this week, and new deckhand, Joe Bradley made an NSFW comment right from the get-go. On a side note, he’s not the same Joe Bradley from Southern Hospitality. He works alongside Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron. Bravo fans already complain about Sandy Yawn and the contrived drama of the show.

Joe Bradley Isn’t The Only One Bringing Sexual Energy

Unbelievable, seems to be the main reaction to Season 9 of the Bravo show. The hot tub looked nasty, but the crew didn’t clean it up before the guests arrived. Aesha Scott seemed too happy to be back with Sandy Yawn. And there’s twerking and sexual innuendos that make it all feel scripted.

Joe Bradley’s NSFW reveal, fans agree, was just one of the things that annoyed Below Deck Med fans judging by comments on social media. Of course, the chef didn’t deliver what the guests expected on Below Deck Med. Despite not waking the chef after midnight, it happened. However, it was Joe Bradley who set the vibe with Nathan Gallager.

Below Deck Med Season 9 – Joe’s NSFW Comment

Nathan was set to share a cabin with Joe, and there’s nothing quite like a trip into the intimacy that goes down on the Bravo vessels. Captain Sandy Yawn seemed fine with it, as long as the crew completed the job. Nathan didn’t even know Joe yet when he shocked the audience with his NSFW comment.

Joe Bradley said to Nathan in the Below Deck Med premiere:

So my night routine before I go to bed: I love finger-blasting me bumhole. Just a quick one before I go to sleep.

Nathan responded well though, simply replying, “I might join you. As soon as I hear that pop, I’m in.”

These days, nobody is shocked by people who might prefer their own gender. After all, Captain Sandy came out as gay years ago. In fact, nobody seemed to feel that whether Joe was serious or just joking was important. Another thing revealed in the trailer was that he was quick to make out with Elena Dubaich. However, it seemed to annoy Bravo fans that the whole season already seems so scripted that it’s unbelievable.

On Reddit, during the Below Deck Med premiere discussion after the show, viewers complained quite a lot. Interestingly, it wasn’t all aimed at Joe Bradley’s comment. Here are some of their feelings:

  • Aesha: “I’ve been wanting to work with Sandy again for a long time. This sub: 😱🤯😭☠️🪦
  • I know first charters are always sh-tshow but oh man this was beyond ridiculous and painful to watch.
  • I think they are doing this for the sake of “drama.”
  • Anyone know why it’s only 3 stews this season? Same giant boat, smaller crew… why? Just for the sake of drama?
  • personally im over the manufactured drama of production not giving them enough time to get to know the boat and make it ready and get provisions in time. its stupid

What are your thoughts about Joe Bradley and his NSFW reveal during the premiere of Season 9? Do you agree that it all seems way too scripted for drama? Sound off in the comments below, and come back here for all your Below Deck Med news.
