While a lot of people claim they don’t like the captain in charge of vessel Mustique, the LGBTQAI+ community adores her. Will she and Leah tie the knot on the Bravo show?

Captain Sandy seemed to always be close to her girlfriend Leah. In 2020, she helped to shoulder the burden when Leah’s dad died from the coronavirus. At the time, they were dating, but as time went by, it became obvious that the duo were in for the long haul. When the captain’s not working at sea, the lovebirds enjoy life next to the ocean.

While Below Deck Med Season 8 viewers slam Captain Sandy Yawn for hiring Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder, her fans just adore her. On her social media, plenty of people look up to her because she didn’t hide her relationship with Leah. Bear in mind, that they came out long before it became a trendy thing to do.

In September this year,  Sandy shared a wonderful proposal, fittingly on the beach. At the time, she seemed nervous and she felt complete relief and love when Leah accepted. In 2021, the Bravo star felt they wouldn’t rush down the aisle, and mentioned that slow but steady was the better way to go.

Also in September this year, the Below Deck Med star started opening up about their wedding. Actually, they don’t plan a massive event and will limit guests to about 50. Could that be a hint that they might tie the knot on the Bravo show at sea?

Recently, E! News spoke with the Bravo star and they confirmed that she definitely hopes to include her fans in the wedding celebration. Whilst she didn’t say that the show would air her nuptials, she seemed quite positive about the possibility. When asked about that, she dropped a huge hint.

Yes, we want to include the fans, absolutely. We’re working out the details.

So far, a date for the wedding hasn’t leaked. So, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will feature as a cameo or special in Season 8.
