‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans’ Co-Stars Shocking Reactions To Her Return
What are Jenelle Evans’ Teen Mom: The Next Chapter co-stars reactions to her returning to the franchise after being fired? She and her estranged husband, David Eason were let go from the show after he shot and killed her dog, Nugget. He also displayed some bad behavior not conducive to continuing on. Teen Mom Jenelle Evans’ Co-Stars Shocking Reactions To Her Return
It has been several since Jenelle Evans has been a cast member on Teen Mom. She made a brief appearance for a party that Briana DeJesus was holding but other than that, she has been off of the series. Yet, when she announced her split from David Eason, fans had a theory she would return. They believed her separation was not sincere and just for her mental health. Rather, there were ulterior motives like she wanted to get her son, Jace, 14 back. Then, she wanted her reality television career back, as well and that has appeared to have worked for her.
Jenelle confirmed that she will appear in the new season of The Next Chapter. She was first seen filming with Briana but was not in the season premiere. That was when Jade Cline wed Sean Austin. However, she will show up at some point to discuss leaving David and her issues with her mom. So, how does the rest of the cast feel about Jenelle’s return? According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the reactions were varied.
Leah Messer did not care to say how she felt as she was just called “two-faced” by Jenelle Evans. As for newly engaged Mackenzie McKee, they are forming a new bond due to their divorces despite previously spewing venom:
“She reached out to me and we exchanged numbers. I had never spoken to her or really met her [before]. I think it’s because we both recently got a divorce. That’s kind of like where we connect. We got a divorce with someone who kind of ruined what people thought about us, in a way. I take accountability for my part. After I got through my divorce and got to the other side, and realized how much better life and I became, loving myself, I was rooting for [Jenelle] to do the same. So, we kind of exchanged that conversation but that’s it.”
So, it seems Jenelle has an ally in Mackenzie aside from her friendship with Briana DeJesus. She also has Maci Bookout by her side who shared she was happy that Jenelle was returning. Though she knew the headlines that had been put out, she also knew they were not always completely factual.

In Maci Bookout’s mind, Jenelle Evans can help a lot of people with her story or those going through a similar situation. As aforementioned, it appears that Jenelle has only filmed scenes for Teen Mom with Briana DeJesus or her children. However, if she does stay on the show, this could open up more opportunities for her to come together with other cast members like Mackenzie McKee and Maci Bookout. First, MTV has to see how Jenelle is received by fans of the show. This is a new time and many years have passed so it could be the reinvention of Jenelle.
