Jenna Johnson Shares Her Ideal Partner For ‘DWTS’ Season 33
Dancing With The Stars Season 33 is still several months away. But professional dancer Jenna Johnson has her eye on the prize and one specific celebrity partner in mind.
Her husband Val Chmerkovskiy took home the Mirrorball Trophy last year. Naturally, Jenna would love to bring home another first-place win to their home.
So who does she want to partner with this fall?
Jenna Johnson Wants Someone Who Will Work Hard
Professional dancers don’t know if DWTS will invite them back until August, just before the season premiere. Until then, the dancers are busy training, working on other projects, and dreaming of their celebrity partner for the season.
As for Jenna Johnson, she’d absolutely love to work with Jason Kelce this season. Since he officially announced his retirement, many fans began speculating Dancing With The Stars would try to cast him.
“He just retired. I think it’s the perfect thing. If his wife wants to do it with Val [Chmerkovskiy], we could definitely do that,” Jenna shared with PEOPLE, expressing her desire to get the Eagles star in the ballroom. “I know that he has some kids, so we could bond over parenting and stuff.”
The professional dancer added that she loves working with NFL stars because they aren’t afraid of a little hard work.
“A lot of the times with our male celebs, this little girl yelling at them all day to do the cha-cha-cha on time, is probably not the most fun thing always. So, I think that they can handle that,” the 30-year-old continued.

After confirming he has CTE, Jason Kelce is likely looking for less dangerous activities for the time being. Joining Dancing With The Stars would give him a chance to stay physically active without the threat of further head injuries.
Who Else Might Join The Ballroom This Fall?
There isn’t an official cast list yet, but there are plenty of rumors flying around about potential competitors. In addition to Jason Kelce, DWTS also reportedly wanted Indiana Fever athlete Caitlin Clark to join the cast. She allegedly turned them down.
Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, also recently mentioned he’d love to give Dancing With The Stars a try if they invite him. His older sister Bindi Irwin won the Mirrorball Trophy back in Season 21.
Would you like to see any of these stars or Jason Kelce join Dancing With The Stars this fall? Do you think Jenna Johnson would make a great partner for him? Leave your own thoughts and ideas in the comments.
