Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Granted Restraining Order For Kids Too
Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has been seeking a restraining order against her estranged husband David Eason for months now. It seems the courts finally agreed with her and granted a six-month domestic violence protective order against David. This counts for Jenelle and her three children.

Jenelle Evans Gets Restraining Against David Eason
Jenelle Evans finally got the restraining order she had been seeking against David Eason. The former Teen Mom star believes she is in danger and wants to protect herself and her three kids from David. She also feels that he presents a danger thanks to his collection of firearms.
This happened at the couple’s court hearing on Thursday. David has asked for several continuances so he could get a lawyer, but he still didn’t have an attorney when he showed up on Thursday. Jenelle does have an attorney named Brandon Pettijohn, and he announced that Jenelle now has a restraining order against David (via The US Sun).
This means that David can have no contact of any kind against Jenelle or hire children. He also is barred from posting about Jenelle on social media and visiting the schools. No provisions were made concerning Ensley, whom they share together. They are in an active child custody case for her.
David tried to make a “sovereign citizen argument” but the judge shot it down. The “sovereign citizen” movement are people who believe the government is the illegitimate product of a conspiracy formed to control people and that the government and its agencies have no authority or jurisdiction over them.
David Eason Ordered To Surrender His Firearms
The courts also ordered David to surrender his firearms. This is where there might be some problems, especially if David believes he is part of the “sovereign citizen” movement. Jenelle has already expressed fear of anyone approaching David because she is worried he will use his firearms if he feels threatened.
Jenelle listed in her restraining order petition moments where David included violent behavior. She mentioned him running over a puppy outside of their house, which killed it. There was also a time in 2019 when he shot and killed their family dog. However, at that time, Jenelle defended David and his actions.
Jenelle also said that David is emotionally abusive toward her and the kids. On top of Ensley, 7, Jenelle is also the mother of Jace, 14, and Kaiser, 9, from previous relationships. David has a daughter, Maryssa, 16, from a previous relationship.
