Is CPS Still Investigating Jenelle Evans & David Eason?
MTV’s Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason have been crucified for continuing to live their lives while Jace is reportedly still in foster care. Just two days ago, Jenelle made headlines as fans ripped her New Year’s celebrations without her son.
Some fans, however, are wondering what the status of the CPS case against Jenelle and David is. Are they still being investigated by Child Protective Services? Or, has the case been closed?

Gag Orders For Everyone
A month ago, InTouch Weekly reported that neither Jenelle Evans nor Jace’s biological father Andrew Lewis were allowed to speak about the ongoing investigation. Turns out, they have both been hit with a gag order. The gag order bars them from making public statements to avoid further harming Jace in any fashion.
Despite having nothing to do with Jace, the press did reach out to Andrew. He gave a simple response: “Can’t talk about it. Period. It’s been officially gagged sorry.”
Is CPS Still Investigating Jenelle Evans & David Eason?
Per The Sun, multiple sources close to Jenelle and David confirm the couple are still under investigation by CPS. As fans know, David and Jenelle were originally being investigated after allegations were made that David abused Jace. It, however, now appears as if they are being investigated regarding their other children as well.
One source explained: “Just because Jace’s CPS custody case is underway doesn’t mean the investigation into their household and the other minors’ welfare is over.”
“A lot is happening with the CPS investigation into the household now,” a second source added.
A third source added: “CPS has continued to keep in touch with several individuals who are connected to the minors in the household.”
Could They Lose Their Other Children?
One big question fans have as this moves forward is whether this MTV couple is at risk of losing their other children.
If what these sources have to say is true, it sounds as if CPS is looking into the well-being of the other children in Jenelle and David’s family. Given that these are anonymous sources coming forward, the information should be taken with a grain of salt. For now, all fans know for sure is that the CPS case has not been closed. The investigation is ongoing. Furthermore, they are reportedly looking into more than just David’s treatment of Jace.
