North West Lands Role For Upcoming Iconic Disney Event
While The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, has been spreading her wings into the life of child stardom, she is taking it a step further now. Notably, North has a knack for performing. From a young age, she loved being in the spotlight like her parents. But now, North is embracing a new role in an upcoming iconic Disney event.
Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Foster North West’s Child Star Career
Undoubtedly, The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian, and her ex-husband, Kanye West, have been instrumental in aiding North West in her child star career pursuits. Not only are both parents famous themselves, but they have fostered North’s desires to perform since she was very little. However, in more recent years, her public appearances with Yeezy models and Kanye performing “Miss Westie” have added to her confidence to chase her budding career. Furthermore, she is working on a new album. Earlier this year she announced, “Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out.”
Likewise, Kim has given North plenty of chances to practice her talents on TikTok. Additionally, she isn’t camera shy with the regular exposure of The Kardashians filming being a frequent part of her life. But now, North is taking her stardom to a whole new level after landing a new Disney role.
North West Lands Role For Upcoming Iconic Disney Performance
Undeniably, North West has to be excited to take on her new role with Disney. While she loves performing, she is lined up to show her talents in the upcoming live concert event for Disney‘s The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl. On May 24 and 25, North will take to the stage in Disney’s celebration of The Lion King’s 30th anniversary. Not only will North film in the two live performances, but they will also release the show as a special program on Disney+ at a later date. Notably, North is joining A-list cast members Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Billy Eichner, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jennifer Hudson, and Bradley Gibson. Additionally, Broadway actors Heather Headley and Lebo M. will also accompany this star-studded cast.
Disney Is Celebrating Big!
Unmistakably, Disney‘s live show celebrates three decades of the 1994 animated film. Over the years, the film had several adaptations. One reshaping includes the 1998 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. In 2019, Disney also released a live-action movie of the story. Without a doubt, North West’s casting in the big event is a huge boost for her star career. Furthermore, each child-at-heart can look forward to The Hollywood Bowl dressing up the film. In like fashion, it will include a full orchestra performing Han Zimmer’s score. Undoubtedly, fans will love revisiting the iconic soundtrack once again. Several songs planned for the event are sentimental favorites such as “Can You Feel The Love Tonight,” “Circle of Life,” and “Hakuna Matata.”
While many of the nods will be to the original animated film, North West and the rest of the glamorous cast will also embrace Broadway elements. Some of the most notable inclusions are original musical numbers, set designs, costumes, and puppetry from the Broadway rendition.
