‘Below Deck Med’ Aesha Scott Is Engaged To Scott Dobson
Fans saw Scott Dobson Facetiming Aesha Scott, 32, on Below Deck Down Under and now she’s engaged to him. The news came just a short time after Bravo fans heard that the Chief Stew moved across to Below Deck Med. They have been dating since 2020 and her social media reveals that he loves the outdoors.
Aesha Scott Was Rumored To Have A Thing For Jason Chambers
In Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean, fans saw that Aesha, who did two seasons there, dated Jack Stirrup. However, they split as he cheated on a girlfriend during the boatmance. By 2022, she was seriously into Scott Dobson who films his outdoor adventures.
For a while, Bravo fans thought that Aesha Scott might get together with Captain Jason Chambers. However, she denied that they had that sort of relationship. In fact, he claimed that they were very close, much like siblings would be. She’d mentioned that to Andy Cohen and reinforced their relationship during BravoCon 2023.

Below Deck Med Star Aesha Gets Engaged
Captain Sandy Yawn is soon marrying her girlfriend, Leah Shafer. According to her Instagram, Aesha will shortly be on her way to the wedding. This news arrived on the same day that US Weekly reported about her engagement to Scott Dobson. Love is definitely in the air amongst the Mustique crew! Nobody commented on Aesha’s engagement in the wedding post but they did send in congrats the day before.
Aesha Scott, US Weekly noted, became engaged at “Homunga Bay” in New Zealand. Scott Dobson popped the question on “the beach,” which seems very fitting for the Below Deck Med crew member. Certainly, he chose a beautiful place for it as it’s on a coastal walking track with plenty of forests. She said that she wasn’t expecting the proposal and she was “totally surprised.”
Scott Dobson put a lot of thought into his engagement ring. The outlet cited “jewelry designer, Layla Kaisi” who spoke about the engagement ring for Aesha Scott. She said:
Scott was so thoughtful and cared deeply about creating a piece that truly symbolized Aesha and his love for her.
Will Below Deck Med Lose A Crew Member?
It might be hard for Bravo fans to imagine Below Deck Med or any other spinoffs without Scott Dobson’s fiance. For now, she’s not talking about leaving the franchise. However, between her charters, they often go off adventuring and seeing the world together. Perhaps, in time, they might decide to settle down and raise a family. For now, Bravo fans can only hope that they see more of her on their favorite sailing shows.
