‘Below Deck’ Aesha Confesses To Chemistry With Captain Jason

Below Deck Down Under chief steward, Aesha Scott confesses to chemistry with Captain Jason Chambers. Although it is not the type of chemistry fans are longing for. Aesha says she and Captain Jason have chemistry but keep reading to find out what kind.

Chemistry Between Aisha and Captain Jason

Fans have been longing for an on-screen romance between Captain Jason Chambers and Aesha Scott. The Captain and Chief Stew opened up at BravoCon 2023 about their chemistry. Aesha said, “People love us together, and I understand that because we do have a lot of chemistry — but it’s like sibling chemistry.” Captain Jason agreed with Aesha saying “It would feel a bit weird.” It sounds like the chemistry fans are longing for is strictly platonic. fans are sure to be disappointed by this news.

During the Below Deck panel at BravoCon 2023, Aesha opened up about her and Captain Jason’s chemistry. She said “I verbalize everything he is thinking. We both have dirty 12-year-old boy minds.” She added that she looks at her boss “like a brother,” adding, “I don’t see him and my panties drop.” Aesha continued “I can tell you I’ve not once been attracted to him. It was platonic from the start.” Aesha has clearly expressed her interest in Captain Jason as being of a platonic nature. Aesha Scott has been in a long-term relationship with fellow Aussie Scotty Dobson.

Aesha Scott And Captain Jason’s Relationship

While the pair may not have romantic chemistry, they do have a close relationship with one another. Aesha gets up close and personal with the captain while helping him put in his contacts. A task fans found to be very intimate. However, the pair deny any assumptions fans are making about the task. Aesha has stated, “he’s a grown man and he doesn’t know how to put contacts in.” Aesha has admitted that even with her help Captain Jason “is still struggling” with the daily task.

Aesha Scott said she has “actually seen [Captain Jason] in glasses most times I’ve seen him since we filmed so he hasn’t learned anything.” She told the Luck Be a Bravo Lady panel “Every time I’ve seen him, he’s only got one in because he still can’t get his left eye.” It sounds like Captain Jason struggles with his contact lenses. Hopefully, he will find some room for growth and improve at the task so Aesha does not need to help him.

Aesha has said that Captain Jason “supports me so much. He’s always doing my dishes and emptying my bins.” That is completely sweet that he does that for her! And further proves that the relationship is more of a sibling nature than that of a romantic nature. Aesha added she helps the Captain by “going up in the morning and putting his contacts in. We’re just a supportive unit.” Fans will be happy to see the relationship continue to develop on Below Deck Down Under.
