Michael Strahan’s Daughter Sophia Supports her Sister
Isabella Strahan, 19, shares her journey as she fights against medulloblastoma, a form of cancer in the brain. Her dad appeared with her on Good Morning America in January and fans of the talk show heard that she underwent surgery in October last year. Since then, she has also had three more surgeries to relieve pressure on her brain.
On her YouTube vlog, Isabella revealed some somber times, but her courage shines through as well. Often, her sister Sophia is on hand to cheer up her twin sister. Recently, Isabella Strahan cried because she hoped to enjoy a bit of summer, but ended up in the hospital again. Her sister, Sophia Strahan sweetly cheered her up by posing with her in a pink wig.
Sophia Strahan Joins Cancer Fundraiser At College
Sophia took to the official Instagram page of the Duke Shave & Buzz Club. The charity is busy raising funds for young people battling cancer at the Duke Medical Center. When they shared photos of their latest fundraiser, the GMA host’s daughter posted a red heart emoji. She was also in two of the photos.
Good Morning America fans love to see the courage of his daughter, Isabella. And, they love seeing how supportive her twin, Sophia is. It can’t be easy attending college while knowing her sister misses out on her education as she fights for her life. Actually, Michael Strahan is in a unique position with his famous face, and that helps Isabella raise more awareness about the disease.

Watching Isabella fight her cancer isn’t easy either. Whether good or bad, she candidly shares her journey on YouTube. The GMA family reaches out to her, but nothing seems sweeter than Sophia arriving on the scene when tears start flowing. Each video comes with a link where her followers can donate to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
Michael Strahan and his daughter, Sophia do everything they can to help keep the good memories coming. In fact, he arranged for Isabella to get a private visit from her favorite musician, Bryson Tiller. She wasn’t expecting him to walk through the door, and GMA fans loved the way her face lit up with joy.
