Michael Strahan’s Daughter Shares Shocking Amount Of Meds To Stay Alive
Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella Strahan has continued to keep fans up to date on her battle against cancer. The vlogger updated her YouTube channel to share some insight into what she goes through every day just to stay alive, including a look at a giant basket of meds she has to take. Michael Strahan’s Daughter Opens Up About Her Routine
The 19-year-old model posted to her YouTube channel yesterday, adding to the series that has followed her medical journey. In October 2023, she had to have emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma, which is a type of malignant tumor, in her cerebellum. Since then, she has kept fans up to date on her progress through a YouTube series.
Isabella’s latest vlog was filmed and edited by her twin sister, Sophia. The video shows Michael Strahan’s daughter at her home in New York City. She is seen making herself a cup of tea at what she calls “her station.”
“This is my station,” she said, gesturing to a basket full of medications. “These are my medicines that I take to stay alive.” As she made her cup of tea, she talked about her mindful teapot that she uses to help with her “balance issues” to ensure she doesn’t spill anything.
Throughout the video, she makes jokes with her sister. “So I’m gonna use soursop tea, which is hopefully anti-cancerous…because I have cancer,” she laughed.
Once she has her cup of tea and gets into bed, Isabella Strahan then has a nurse give her a heparin shot. The injection is used to help prevent blood clots while she undergoes treatment for her brain tumor.
She was preparing for a busy day. The video jumps to the next day where she speaks about some of the appointments she has to go to. “I have a dermatology appointment at 1:30 and then I have blood work at 3. And I just had occupational therapy at 11:30,” she said as she was headed out.
In the car, the driver asked Isabella how she was feeling. “I’m feeling…,” she replied somberly.
Isabella Strahan Is Preparing To Wrap Up Chemotherapy
The latest vlog also showed the moment Michael Strahan’s daughter was surprised by her twin sister. Isabella was seen lying on the couch and she burst into tears when Sophia walked through the door.
“Oh my gosh! I’m getting so many surprises!” she exclaimed. “This is why you wouldn’t answer my calls.” The surprise visit came around the time that Isabella learned she would only have to have two more rounds of chemotherapy, rather than the initial four rounds of chemo they had planned on.
“I’m halfway there! I’m halfway done with chemo and it just makes me really happy,” she said at the time. “I’ve been praying that I would only have to do four rounds and now… yay! Now, I can’t even be a little bit sad because I can do it. I’ve done it, I just have to repeat everything I’ve just done. I’m just super happy. Today’s a great day.”
