Doubling Down With The Derricos Season 5 Premieres Soon
On social media, fans who feared the cancellation of the family show were thanking TLC for bringing it back. There were a lot of fears that it wouldn’t return. Deon Derrico roped in fans who voted for it to stay. However, you should know that the time slot has changed and it will air at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The premiere is on May 14 and will be shown on TLC, discovery+, and Max.
Doubling Down with the Derricos fans will catch up with Deon Derrico’s mom, “GG” and the good news is that she’s still alive. However, spoilers for the show reveal that she makes a tough decision about her chemotherapy. While Deon isn’t happy with that, she’s determined to find a more holistic way of treating her cancer.

Deon & Karen Derrico Find A New Home, Darian Stars Studying
For the first time, there are some cracks in the relationship between Karen and Deon. Unfortunately, they have a new home, but the renovations seem insurmountable. Everything that can go wrong, does. So, the mom of multiples grows frustrated. Then, there’s a clash over Darian who doesn’t want to study what her mom wants. So, she talks to her dad about how she isn’t enjoying her courses as a musical performer.
As for the rest of the kids, the Doubling Down with the Derricos clan is growing up and Deon Derrico said that the older boys are “girl-crazy!” Derrick and his two younger brothers all hit puberty at the same time, and romance is in the air. The littlest triplets, 4, including Dawsyn who went for heart surgery in Season 2, are all healthy. Meanwhile, at nine, the quints, Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician, and Daiten, are full of energy. Then there are the surviving triplets, Diez and Dior, to add their voices to the noisy fun of life.
Notably, in the trailer, there are no hints of any further babies on the way. Nevertheless, there is a scary moment involving an ambulance and it’s not GG in trouble.
