    1. I agree and he cried and talked about his deceased wife too much which showed me that he is still grieving and hurt so he was not ready to move on with someone new although he thought he was!

      1. I did not have that feeling about his emotional griefs. I am told he dated before the show. So he was ready. My guess is they both are still in the phase of what dating is about and they both were not ready to live together.

    1. To get divorced like that means something irreconcilable happened. Maybe he didn’t have any money and Teresa thought he was set, maybe they just realized they like living where they are and really didn’t want to move… who the heck knows? You really don’t know someone for at least 6 months, that’s when they’re real self comes out, unless you have that knowing feeling when you meet someone that they’re the one, otherwise you have to wait. God bless them both in any case, no one’s perfect.

    1. I’m sad. I was rooting for them 😪 😔 I would’ve thought the location would’ve been first to discuss. But everything did move at whiplash speed. wish them both the best!!!

  1. Too much started to surface about him toward the end of the show – that made us think he cousins be trusted – but there wasn’t much time remaining as they were down to the wire. I think Theresa is as honest as they come … even a little naive maybe since she had such a happy first marriage. I don’t think the same about him.

      1. i agree , i think its more to the story. It was something about Jerry that i wasnt imoressed with. Watch out for the grieving widow with adult kids. The kids will impose to protect there parent and interests. Im sure Jerry got a good check for the show i. dont think the contestants get paid unless it changed with ABC.

  2. It came out that he had been with another woman before he became star stuck on TV. It won’t be long before he is seen with another woman now that his 3 month marriage will dissolve & I doubt there will only be one other.

  3. There’s got to be something we don’t know. They didn’t seem to be bothered about geography, even living separately could have worked for them. but I do wonder what’s up with Leslie. I’m a real fan of hers

    1. There’s more to this than we know at the moment, it was too fast also.
Now he will have the opportunity to see others, like Leslie ??
I believe the separation is more his decision than Theresa’s and she’s doing what he wants.

  4. They should have worked all the details out with their lives, family, and living situation. It was ridiculous to rush into marriage so soon. But truly they didn’t try.

  5. Theresa always appeared too desperate….I think she was the one who rushed the marriage. While watching their interview on tv, I got the impression that Gerry was the one who wanted to ‘dissolve’ the marriage, not Theresa. I don’t think he ever really loved her.

  6. no surprise, Gerry has always seemed dishonest to me. I just couldn’t find him trust worthy. It also eseemed odd one day it was Leslie and then overnight it was Theresa. I think maybe he thought Theresa was more financially secure. dare I say he was after more then Theresa. Anyway I was always a Leslie fan. I think Theresa is conniving. but it all made for good television. cause here we are talking about this crap.

    1. I am a fan of Leslie too and I agree with your thoughts about his quick switch from Leslie to Theresa‼️‼️

  7. Really should be about 2 seniors finding companionship not narriage.
Emotional committments are stronger than ” I Do”. The concept of marriage should not apply to a senior relationship.

  8. My thought is that neither one of them wanted to relocate. Sometimes, with Seniors it is difficult to move when you are settled in your space. I believe they planned on relocating together and later found it unfeasible. If Gerry would had moved in with Theresa or vice versa it would had worked.

  9. There’s more to this than we know at the moment, it was too fast also.
Now he will have the opportunity to see others, like Leslie ??
I believe the separation is more his decision than Theresa’s and she’s doing what he wants.

  10. I knew this was not going to work. it was all financial. That’s why he kicked Leslie to the Curb. if they had waited a few months, they would have saved some Divorce papers. Why couldn’t the women see through his Con?

  11. It seems to me that it was all staged. I find it odd that the “divorce” happened at the 90 day mark. Seems like there was a 90 day clause in a contract to me! We got duped once again folks!

  12. I quit watching 1/2 way through because I thought he was a complete cad, liar & very untrustworthy. He made out with every woman from day one! I wasn’t completely sold on Theresa either, so I’m not surprised this is the result. Find your own Golden Bachelor & save yourself months of public humiliation!
A creep is a creep! This disaster just made senior women look desperate!

  13. on people All These reality shows are staged it’s on there for entertainment I don’t think hardly anything is real and you shouldn’t either or you’re an idiot

  14. Sorry, but True Love would have made a compromise, I met my love on match, lived on opposite coasts, after we finally met in person, he flew home, retired early, sold his home and contents and moved across the country. After one month we were married in our living room, just the two of us.
10 yrs later here we are, no cameras, no fanfare, just love.

  15. Awful! Glad I taped it and never sat through entire episodes because there was too much crying and drama. I thought this show sends a callous message to this millennial generation. The rush to have an elaborate televised wedding and then never move in with one another and announce a divorce in less time than the production of the show just confirms how fake this “reality tv” show is. I will not watch again and told my kids and their friends to not waste their time!
