Things may not be so golden between Golden Bachelor couple Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner. They still don’t live together four months after their whirlwind wedding. Keep reading for all the details.
Golden Bachelor Alums Reunite
ABC brought in three Golden Bachelor alums to counsel Joey Graziadei’s final three women on Season 28 of The Bachelor. Fans thought it was odd to bring in Susan Noles, Sandra Mason, and Leslie Fhima when none of those women won Gerry Turner’s heart on the first season of The Golden Bachelor.
But maybe they were saving the big guns for the finale. Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were part of the studio audience at last week’s After The Final Rose special, where they watched as Joey proposed to Kelsey Anderson.
They weren’t the only Bachelor Nation alums to get invites to the big event. Gerry and Theresa reunited with some of their Golden Bachelor co-stars, including Sandra Mason and runner-up Leslie Fhima. Theresa previously went on a girls’ trip with some of the other ladies from her season.
Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Living In Separate Homes
In early January, Gerry Turner documented on Instagram the journey of bringing his dog Cody from Indiana to New Jersey to meet Theresa Nist. Fans presumed the post meant that Gerry was finally moving to live with his wife.
However, four months later, the two still aren’t living together. Not only are they not living in the same house, they aren’t even living in the same state. Gerry is still living in his lakeside home in Indiana. Theresa continues to reside in her New Jersey home and also still has her job.
Sources spilled the tea to TMZ and the couple talked about their living situation on a recent episode of the Dear Shandy podcast. The insider told TMZ that Gerry and Theresa are still “madly in love” and plan to eventually move in together, perhaps in South Carolina.
But Bachelor Nation fans are skeptical. They took to Reddit to discuss Gerry and Theresa living separate lives. Check out some of the comments:
- I don’t understand how you get married without having this all figured out first.
- no one would really care if not for the fact that they married so quickly and were the ones who repeated said they were ready to start their life together, selling their houses and buying a new one even mentioned South Carolina close to her son.
- I just feel like the Bachelor formula isn’t meant for love. The producers get drama out of the formula and the contestants get fame/sponsorships out of it.
- I listened to them on Dear Shandy, imo he seems a little resentful she is still working, he thought they could start enjoying their life together ( travelling etc…)at the beginning, they both were going to sell their houses and move together, don’t think it’s gonna happen.
- Doesn’t sound like they’ll last

Let them take their time selling and moving. it’s not a good time to sell right now. they rushed getting married, probably because it was free.
Maybe once they go on their honeymoon and return shevwil be ready to work part-time. They can’t travel 24-7 so she could figure a way to have 2-3 weeks maybe every 4 months. her working gives him time to continue the things he enjoys.
Despite the quick engagement/marriage it does take time to logistically sell, move and organize the rest.
Well, since I was sure he was going to pick the other one, I’m not surprised at anything ! Let them be, they’re adults, they’ll live together when they’re both ready ! In the meantime, they are still together in some way, shape or form.
