The Bachelor season 28 finale ended in an engagement when Joey Graziadei proposed to Kelsey Anderson. But some fans think that his family wanted him to end up with his runner-up instead. Did he make the wrong decision?
Fans took to Reddit to discuss the dynamic between Joey’s family and Daisy compared to their dynamic with Kelsey. A fan started a thread with the question, “Why did they make it seem like joeys family was so disapproving of kelsey but they loved daisy???”
Other Bachelor Nations had the same impression and shared their thoughts on why it seemed that way on TV.
- Daisy just seemed more ready for engagement and committed to Joey longterm. Kelsey gave his sisters weak and vague answers on those issues and came across as not ready.

Joey Graziadei tried to play off online gossip about his season, particularly whether he and Kelsey spoiled the ending. However, Us Weekly brought the speculation about his family’s reaction to Kelsey to his attention during a recent interview.
Joey said that his family got along “just fine” with both Daisy and Kelsey. In addition to his family meeting his final two, Joey said that the purpose was also for him to use his family as a sounding board about who he was connecting with the most. And that was Kelsey.
He revealed that his sisters actually preferred Kelsey. “They said pretty early on they’re like, ‘It’s got to be Kelsey. The way he talks about her, you can just feel it’s got to be her.’”

I think Joey should have picked Daisy, she is such a sweet person. Daisy and Joey’s family had such a great sweetness over her she felt very comfortable with them. she was ready for a marriage with Joey. Kelsy said she didn’t know if she was ready to get engaged.
sorry but I don’t believe Kelsey was the right pick. She is all in the moment. it won’t work. sorry just my opinion. Daisy was ready to settle down and get married.
