Bachelorette Couple Jet Off On Romantic Vacation
Bachelorette star Charity Lawson is ready for some much-needed alone time with her fiance. She got engaged to Dotun Olubeko in 2023. However, they had to keep their romance a secret until the proposal aired on TV.
She immediately went from The Bachelorette into rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars. The Georgia native came in fourth place and went on to join the Live Tour earlier this year.
Now it seems that Charity and Dotun are making up for lost time. They recently shared on social media that they are in the Caribbean island of Grenada. A photo of Charity in a white wedding dress sparked speculation that they eloped.

The former Bachelorette added fuel to the fire with a social media post celebrating her big day. “We did it babe,” she wrote on a sweet snapshot with her fiance, Dotun.
Charity continued, “Even with the odds against us…You are the love that I didn’t expect, but changed my life for the absolute better, the way you love me and who you are proves to be true, day after day, that sometimes “a good thing is just a good thing””
She added, “I love you so much and forever grateful for you!”
So, did the two sneak off to tie the knot? Charity revealed that the photo was part of the engagement pictures that they took in Grenada. “happy 1 year anniversary,” she wrote to her fiance.

Bachelor Nation stars and her social media followers flooded the comments with congratulations. One fan wrote, “You two were made for each other I swear.”
Another added, “I always remember how nervous Dotun was during the proposal, holding so tight to her hands, thinking he was going to face the biggest heartbreak.”
Charity and Dotun previously revealed plans to have two wedding ceremonies sometime in 2025. It seems the two are set on a traditional wedding and not a quickie elopement.
Fans will see the couple return to TV soon for a Bachelor Nation episode of Family Feud. ABC has yet to reveal when it will air, but it also features Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist. It was filmed shortly before the Golden Bachelor couple announced they were divorcing.
