Honey Boo Boo Asks ‘Shark Tank’ For $150K To Fund Education
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson isn’t done begging for money on the internet. In her latest request, she called out the Sharks from Shark Tank to help fund her education and offered something in return to sweeten the deal. Mama June Stole From Alana Thompson
The WeTV star has been asking people online for money for weeks now. Since it was revealed that her mom, June Shannon, stole money from her Coogan account, Alana Thompson has been searching for money anywhere she can get it.
Apparently, Mama June spent most of the money Alana earned from the time she was 6 until 17. June says that there is only about $33,000 left in the account.
All of this came to light when it came time for Alana to ask for money for college. Pumpkin urged her to ask their mother for money from her Coogan account because Pumpkin isn’t able to help fund Honey Boo Boo’s education.
Honey Boo Boo Calls Out Shark Tank For Help
Honey Boo Boo jokingly posted a video to TikTok asking the professionals on Shark Tank for $150,000. The video showed her blinking at the camera, trying to look persuasive.
“Hey Sharks! Seeking $150K to fund my nursing education! In exchange, you’ll gain 10% equity (I’ll be your go-to nurse for all your family’s little ones!)” she wrote over the clip.
“Just kidding… or am I?” Alana wrote in the caption. “Sharks, if you’re ready to make a deal, count me in! Oh, and let’s keep the lashes hush-hush until my glam session tomorrow!”
Fans flocked to the comment section to root for Honey Boo Boo.

“You got this you’re gonna make a difference,” one follower commented. A second fan wrote, “You’ll get it funded. You have a huge platform built around you. We have all watched you grow up. You deserve all the support and [your] followers [hear] you.”
Several fans offered her advice on getting her nursing degree. “Pro-tip…..get your ASN at a community college first then finish your BSN or MSN with an employer who helps with tuition assistance. Saves you big,” one person wrote. Another suggested something similar by getting started at a community college before proceeding to a four-year school.
While many people are sympathetic to her situation, others can’t believe she’s asking for money. Fans have taken to other platforms, like Reddit, to discuss how much money Alana Thompson probably has. Yet, she continues to ask for money from her followers and make “joke” posts like the one targeted at the Sharks.
Right now, there has been no response from Shark Tank, and there likely won’t be one. Although her counteroffer is tempting, it isn’t something the Sharks typically invest in.

Get a job and save the money until you have enough to pay for school. Then go. Also, tell your mother to get off her butt and get a job to pay you back. She is the one who owes you money for your education not others. The world owes you nothing. Help yourself…you are quite capable. Just do it.

I would sue her mother as it seems she used the funds illegally, but I may be wrong, perhaps just immorally. i would go to a community college fist as others have suggested, but I would definitely separate from that so called parent.

she worked her entire childhood and was robbed from the fruits of her labour. Now she is working towards a career on her own, and you say that? Have a tiny bit of compassion. Whether she should have asked or not, she is a person who has been through a lot of trauma. Your response is a bit harsh.
