April 4 marks three months since Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got hitched in a televised ceremony. Golden Bachelor contestant Susan Noles officiated the nuptials. The couple had only been engaged a few months before walking down the aisle. They both professed that time is of the essence when you’re older.
However, they are certainly taking their time when it comes to living together or even living in the same state. Gerry Turner still resides in Indiana, and Theresa lives in New Jersey. The couple often travel to spend time together. But fans can’t help but wonder how sustainable that is for a marriage.
Is there trouble in paradise already, or is the couple being pragmatic in not uprooting the lives they had before reality TV? Gerry and Theresa addressed their separate lives during a recent podcast episode. “People believe we left January 4th and rode off to some house that magically appeared halfway between Shrewsbury and Hudson, Indiana and we’re living there everyday,” Gerry explained.

Despite Gerry Turner’s assurances, his wife’s recent public appearances have fueled speculation about potential marital issues. Earlier this week, Theresa was spotted leaving work looking noticeably glum. The usually cheerful actress was seen with a furrowed brow and a look of deep concern etched on her face.

Regardless of whether Theresa and Gerry’s marriage is a success, ABC is going full-steam ahead with a Golden Bachelorette spinoff. It is expected to air this fall following a summer Bachelorette season. Fans are still waiting for the network to announce who will be the first Golden Bachelorette.

If you don’t want to live together because of what you’ve built over the years, then WHY WHY WHY did you participate in the show? Are you that stupid?
