Joey Graziadei is by all accounts one of the most popular Bachelor leads in years. Viewers first met him as a contestant on Season 20 of The Bachelorette. Fans were heartbroken along with him when Charity Lawson chose Dotun Olubeko. But Joey didn’t mope for long. He was quickly chosen as the Season 28 Bachelor.
His season premiered in January and just reached its dramatic conclusion. He proposed to Kelsey Anderson after Daisy Kent self-eliminated at the last minute. There is an Instagram account dedicated to reporting on how many followers various Bachelor Nation stars have. According to @bachelordata, Joey Graziadei just hit 700k followers. That may seem like a lot, but it’s still way behind a few other Bachelor leads, including Colton Underwood and Peter Weber.
Daisy Kent is hot on Joey’s heels with more than 700k followers. Joey’s new fiance, Kelsey Anderson, lags behind them both with just over 500k followers. What about other social media platforms?
Daisy and Kelsey are more active on TikTok than they are on Instagram. Kelsey has over 300k followers on TikTok, which is still behind Daisy’s 400k followers. But they both beat Joey, who only has 200k followers on TikTok.
Why Does It Matter?
One Bachelor Nation fan took to Reddit to comment on Daisy and Joey’s Instagram competition. They created a thread to discuss the topic and wrote, “Daisy is so close to passing Joey in followers on Instagram which is insane!!!”
One fan was surprised by Daisy’s boost in followers, asking, “People started following her after she wasn’t bachelorette?” Jenn Tran was announced as the next Bachelorette.
Now that she’s not Bachelorette, Daisy Kent can focus on building her brand via social media engagement.

I think that Daisy also saved the Bachelor this season. I would prefer to follow her and not Joey. So much about him still feels disingenuous.
