Jenn Tran Named Bachelorette For Season 21
Jenn Tran made an unforgettable first impression on Joey Graziadei and viewers when she entered Season 28 of The Bachelor. She skipped the typical limo entrance and opted to rev up the mansion driveway in a go-kart. Jenn joked that she “raced from Miami” to pursue Joey. She did doughnuts on the pristine driveway and later incited him with a go-kart race.
They had a magical one-on-one date that ended in a drone show with the words “Will You Accept This Rose?” written in the sky. Despite their growing connection, Jenn was eliminated ahead of hometown dates. Joey ended up proposing to Kelsey Anderson.
Even though she didn’t even make it to third or even fourth place, the network tapped her as the next Bachelorette. Season 21 of the popular spinoff will air this summer. Some viewers were hoping Maria Georgas or Daisy Kent would get the gig.
Did She Drop Out Of College For Reality Show?
In addition to being a go-kart racer, Jenn Tran is studying to be a physician’s assistant. Or she was. She put her studies on hold to appear on Season 28 of The Bachelor. Has she completely dropped out to look for love as The Bachelorette?
That’s what a Bachelor Nation fan wondered and took to Reddit to try to find an answer. They didn’t find a definitive answer, but other fans suspect that Jenn Tran did drop out and explained why in the comments:
- I’m pretty sure she dropped out of that particular program. She could come back to pursue PA school again but she would have to restart over at a new program or a new cohort from the very beginning. But no way in he** would a PA program give her two chances to take a long hiatus break.
- I wouldn’t be surprised if she quit!!
- Hard to say but IMO it’s a shame she gave it up. I understand wanting to find love, but this was something she worked so hard to get to and progress through (PA school is brutal) and now she’s giving it up to make money as an influencer after her season instead. Truly hope it’s worth it for her.
- She had to have quit! She was in the middle of the semester doing her clinicals at a hospital. I’m sure she’ll have to start that over if she wants to finish school.
