Bachelor contestant Jenn Tran spills the tea on her recent 1-on-1 date with Joey Graziadei. How did he help her overcome her fears? Keep reading for all the details.

Jenn Tran Faces Biggest Fear On The Bachelor

Jenn Tran got the second 1-on-1 date of Season 28 of The Bachelor. Front runner Daisy Kent went on the first, but Jenn’s connection with Joey Graziadei is also strong, especially after their date.

Jenn confronted one of her biggest fears in life during the solo date. And no, it wasn’t hanging out in a famous cemetery! Before spending quality time together among dead people, Joey took Jenn on a trip to the beach.

However, the 25-year-old grad student is deathly afraid of the sharks. So, of course, the date included surfing in the ocean.

After confronting her fear of the open water, the two enjoyed a drone show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

The cemetery has another reality TV connection. It’s where Vanderpump Rules alums Beau Clark and Stassi Shroeder got engaged. The couple just welcomed their second child, so maybe the cemetery gives off romantic vibes.

How Joey Graziadei Helped Her

Bachelor Nation fans bashed the producers for the sketchy one-on-one dates so far this season. (It’s an open secret that the producers plan the dates, not the lead themselves.)

However, Jenn Tran doesn’t seem to hold any ill will toward the producers for the scary ocean date. In fact, she ended up having a wonderful time, thanks to Joey.

She was a guest on a recent episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast and spilled the tea on the solo date. She admitted that she was nervous about getting into the ocean at first but joked that she doubted the show would let her die on TV.

Jenn also revealed that Joey’s presence comforted her. “When I was in the water, I honestly felt super comfortable with Joey,” she told the podcast hosts.

Knowing that Joey lived in Hawaii for years and was an avid surfer comforted Jenn. She said, “He seemed like he knew what he was doing, so I knew he was going to save me if there was a shark.”

The Date Ended Well

Jenn Tran survived the date without any shark sightings, and her connection with Joey only became stronger.

In a Bachelor Nation first, drones were used to offer the date rose to Jenn. In a stunning display, “Jenn, Will You Accept This Rose?” was written in the sky.
