Did The Bachelor Franchise Throw Chris Harrison Under The Bus?
Chris Harrison and his wife Lauren Zima appeared on the HIM & HER Show where he opened up more about the time he spent as the host of The Bachelor. He hosted the show and all of the spinoffs for 20 years.
During the interview, Chris talked about how he was the face and voice of The Bachelor. Leads would come and go, contestants would come and go but he was a constant. So, he did all the interviews and dealt with all the issues that arose. Whether the issue was big or small it was always send out Chris Harrison.
He went on to say that while he didn’t realize it at the time, he was being used by the show as the voice, face and likeness of The Bachelor. Chris recalled being told to put on that smile and go fix it basically. He was expected to go and make things right with whatever controversy or issue may have arisen.
He revealed that eventually, he realized his name was on the line. Chris was the one who was sent to “do the dance” and make everything okay. It was never the producers or anyone else that would have their name on the line and in print. They were all back at the office.
When things would go right Chris shared that it would be like good job buddy thanks. However, when things didn’t go as planned, he turned around and realized he was on his own and nobody was standing behind him.
The controversy that arose from an interview with Rachel Lindsay ultimately ended his career as the host of The Bachelor.

He’s Heading Back To TV
Chris Harrison is coming back to televisions everywhere. He revealed recently that he and Lauren Zima will be featured on Dr. Phil’s network. They will be doing a little bit of everything including a dating show.
So far there have not been a lot of details about the new dating show shared other than that Chris Harrison will be a part of it.
