Chris Harrison Confirms Return To Television

Chris Harrison Returning To Television
Many fans have longed for Chris Harrison to return to television after he left The Bachelor franchise in 2020 because of the controversy surrounding Rachael Kirkconnell. He defended Rachael in an interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and it was the beginning of his downfall.
Speculation grew that he was planning a return when earlier this week he retweeted a post from a few years ago from a fan who said they missed him. Chris wrote that he missed them too and see you soon.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Chris is returning to television. Entertainment Tonight spoke with Chris and confirmed his return. He will be on Dr. Phil’s Merit Street Media, where he will host both a morning show and a dating show and also contribute to Dr. Phil Primetime. This will be a new streaming network.
Chris said he did think about it really hard before making the decision to return. He said, “Call it divine intervention, karma, kismet, whatever it is, the fact that Dr. Phil created this network in my own backyard here in Dallas, it means the world to me to, not only be returning to television, but to be doing it here in a hometown crowd.”
Dr. Phil knew Chris was the perfect fit when he contributed to Dr. Phil Primtime. The audience went crazy when Chris stepped out on stage.
What Will He Be Doing?
Chris Harrison will be hosting a morning show alongside his wife Lauren Zima. She teased that their relationship would play a big part in their morning show. They want it to be fun, silly and entertaining to captivate their audience and get their day started out right.
On top of the morning show, Chris will be stepping back into his hosting shoes to bring to life a new reality dating series. Dr. Phil gave him full reign to come up with a dating show that is bigger and broader than ever before.

Chris said, “People got to know and love me for two decades hosting The Bachelor, so, yes, we are going to be creating a reality dating show. For years and years I said, ‘This is the most dramatic show ever.’ We want to create a show where those words actually ring true, so this dating show will be the most dramatic ever — that you can be sure of.”
Chris and Lauren are both excited to be returning to television. Lauren loves the vibe on this set. The new network Dr. Phil created is set to launch on April 2.

That would be great as long as it is not Scripted Reality. It is wonderful when people find each other but not when there has to be drama or the directors making the story lines.
