Mayim Bialik Flaunts New Gig After ‘Jeopardy!’ Firing
Although Mayim Bialik has laid low since being let go from Jeopardy!, she isn’t going to let a little thing like being fired stop her. While the door for Jeopardy! wasn’t slammed shut, losing a job can bruise anyone’s ego a bit. However, Mayim is back up and running! And now she is flaunting a new major gig.
Mayim Bialik Presses Forward
While Mayim Bialik holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, somehow, the hosting job at Jeopardy! wasn’t the perfect fit everyone imagined. But mostly because Ken Jennings was seemingly born for the role after the late Alex Trebec passed away. However, Mayim still may have a spot on the Jeopardy! scene in the future. At this time, she has plenty of opportunities with her new major gig to keep her busy.
Mayim Bialik Flaunts New Major Gig
Since leaving Jeopardy! Mayim Bialik has kept up with her podcast Bialik Breakdown. On her Bialik Breakdown website she says, “Armed with a PhD in Neuroscience and plenty of personal experience, I’m breaking down mental health so you don’t have to.” Her podcast focuses on “myths and misunderstandings about mental health and emotional well-being.” On her official Bialik Breakdown Instagram page, she flaunts a new major gig with her boyfriend, Jonathan Cohen.
She boasts of her exciting panel at SXSW 2024: “Thank you to everyone who came out to our packed (!) panel on The Intersection of Science and Spirituality. We discussed all things mind, body, and sprit and in particular, how science is proving the psychological and physiological benefits of spiritual experiences and spirituality. Stay tuned to @bialikbreakdown for the audio release of the talk later this spring! 🙌✨.”
Promising New Gig
Notably, Mayim Bialik’s panel seems to be the biggest development since parting ways with Jeopardy! hosting. Then in another post, she says, “Were any of y’all in attendance for our first live MBB recording @SXSW today in Austin?!?! 🤠We had THE BEST time chatting about the intersection of science 🧪and spirituality 🙏 and meeting some of you afterward. Thanks everyone for being there! 🧠🫶🧠🫶 👢.” Undeniably, Mayim seems to have found her stride in the intersection of two very important topics in her life. Additionally, she seems happy and healthy in her new pursuits. Truly, as one door closed, more are opening for Mayim.
Mayim Bialik Reunites With Jim Parsons
Additionally, Mayim Bialik revisited her The Big Bang Theory character with costar, Jim Parsons. Fans can look forward to seeing Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler back together very soon. Reportedly, both will be in the series finale of Young Sheldon on Thursday, May 16. Furthermore, the finale will air on CBS at 8/7c and stream on Paramount+.
