After two months of rumors, CBS has officially announced that they are making a Young Sheldon spinoff featuring Georgie and Mandy. This Big Bang Theory prequel comedy series stars Montana Jordan and Emily Osment.

CBS Orders Young Sheldon Spinoff Starring Montana Jordan And Emily Osment
The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon now has its own spinoff. According to Deadline, CBS has ordered a spinoff featuring Georgie and Mandy. This will focus on this young couple’s trials and tribulations around “adulthood, parenting, and marriage.”
Although this spinoff does not yet have a name, fans should be pleased to know the same people who brought the OG, and the first spinoff, Chuck Lorre, Steven Morlaro, and Steve Holland are all back for this reiteration.
Amy Reisenbach, President of CBS Entertainment shared a statement about this new development. “It has been a privilege to spend the last seven years with Sheldon and the Cooper family and now this wonderful journey will continue with Georgie and Mandy. ”
She continued, praising the leadership of the team that brought these beloved series to fruition.
Chuck and both Steves have done a masterful job developing these characters and entertaining generations of fans with relatable, heartwarming stories brought to life by Montana and Emily. We eagerly look forward to the next chapter in this beloved universe.

On Tuesday, Young Sheldon star Montana Jordan went to Instagram to share the news. Understandably, he is thrilled that there will be a spinoff.

Montana got many offers of congratulations, but one in particular had fans asking questions.
Raegan Revord, who portrays Missy on the CBS comedy, wrote, “Couldn’t have happened to a better person! Wishing you the best over there brother.❤”
This made fans ask whether or not she will be part of this new spinoff. One fan asked, “How can there be a Young Sheldon spinoff without Missy?”
That is a great question. However, CBS has not revealed whether anyone from Young Sheldon will be in the new spinoff.
