Welcome to Plathville fans didn’t take to Barry Plath on TLC in Season 1 but they warmed to him, so his wonderful birthday surprise might make viewers happy. The former husband of Kim Plath was born on March 6, 1968. So, he just turned 56 years old.
TLC Fans Like The Post-Divorce Barry Plath
Welcome to Plathville fans saw that after Kim left him, the dad of nine started polishing up. Additionally, his sons liked that he seemed more relaxed and happy. After he started doing workouts and going to the gym, he soon transformed into quite the hunk. So, some older fans got quite thirsty for him. But most of all, TLC fans admired the way he stepped up for his kids after Kim dumped the family.
Barry Plath also called out his daughter-in-law, Olivia for “brainwashing” his son, Ethan. There are plenty of Team Olivia fans, but many people blamed her for the unhappiness in the fundie family. So these days, it’s not just a handful of people who have any time for the man who celebrated a birthday this week.

Welcome To Plathville Star Gets A Birthday Surprise
TLC fans who follow Lydia Plath on Instagram saw that she shared a photo on her stories of her dad with the family on his birthday. The photo didn’t show the Welcome to Plathville boys, but some of them were around, as you will see further down in this article. In her caption, she wrote:
1 day to celebrate my amazing dad!!…Happy birthday.
A video of Barry Plath also arrived on social media., and in that, he was guided along the passage facing backward. The caption of that one said:
Happy birthday to the best dad ever! We surprised him with a grill for his birthday, he’s been wanting one for a while.
When he had walked past the girls, he turned around and saw his gift. While everyone clapped and said, “Yay,” he bugged out his eyes and gave a hearty “Wowwww!” Everyone called out “Happy birthday Dad,” and he seemed thrilled with his surprise.
TLC fans might be pleased to see that the kids did something extra special for their father. After all, he lost his wife to another man, and his son Ethan also ended up getting a divorce from Olivia. Hopefully, 2024 will be a kinder year for him.
