‘Today’ Anchor Hoda Kotb Is Back In The Dating Game
After splitting with her long-term boyfriend Joel Schiffman, Hoda Kotb is officially back in the dating game.
She and Joel were together for eight years and adopted two little girls together, 7-year-old Haley and 4-year-old Hope. Although Hoda and Joel opted to end their relationship, they remain good friends and co-parents to their daughters.
Reentering the dating pool wasn’t easy — Hoda waited two long years before she accepted a date. But now, it seems like the possibilities are endless for the Today anchor.

Hoda Kotb Is Giving Romance Another Chance
Hoda Kotb thought she would spend the rest of her life with Joel Schiffman, but that ultimately wasn’t meant to be. However, the Today anchor is determined to stay positive and make the most of life.
During a recent talk show appearance, she even admitted she was giving dating a try.
“I do have to say something, something did happen the other day that hasn’t happened in two years,” the 59-year-old shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “I had a date! I had a date.”
Kelly expressed excitement for her friend and congratulated her on the huge step. However, Hoda clarified and said that it was just a date. In other words, it doesn’t sound like she will have another date with the suitor.

“… I am really loving not having a man in my life. Like, it’s just too hard. There’s too much,” Kelly shared, reflecting on her own split from Brandon Blackstock. “There’s all the jobs, plus the kids, plus being present for the kids while you’re there. ‘Cause sometimes people will still email you, and I’m like, ‘No, no, no, we’re home now. We’re not doing this.’”
“You are flourishing in a way that I did not see all those years ago. You are flourishing, my girl, and I’m so proud of you,” Hoda replied.
Many viewers agreed that Hoda Kotb is also flourishing. Romance can be fun, but she clearly doesn’t need a man to be a great mother and TV anchor.
The Future Looks Bright For The Today Anchor
Although Hoda didn’t find her perfect match, fans are excited that she’s getting back out there. When she finally does find someone to settle down with, she will share details when she feels ready.
