Ryan Paevey Reveals He Has No Upcoming Hallmark Movies
After a disappointing Jane Austen month without a third Mr. Darcy movie and without Ryan Paevey, his devoted fans have been hoping for new on a new Hallmark movie. According this his Sunday Instagram Live, Ryan does not have anything coming up, and that includes Hallmark.
Instead, he is in his workshop. In addition, he has been on social media more this year interacting with fans. He even graciously answered questions.
Unfortunately, one fan rudely asked if was “difficult to work with.” Ryan calmly replied that it was a “bad question” to ask anyone. It should be noted that he is Sir Ron Oliver’s favorite actor to work with, and he has worked with hundreds of actors over the years in his over 30 years of directing.
So, why has Ryan been idle?
Part of the reason has to be because of the SAG-AFTRA strike that took away most of the 2023 acting opportunities for American actors.
Thankfully, Ryan managed to get two movies filmed before that happened. That includes Fourth Down And Love with Pascale Hutton. The second was the Countdown To Christmas movie Under The Christmas Sky. However, March has just begun and he is awaiting the call from the network. Moreover, fans are also waiting for news.
Also, fans still want to know whether there will be a third movie in the Mr. Darcy series. TV Shows Ace had reached out to Unleashing Mr. Darcy writer Teri Wilson, and the author advised there was no holdup on her end. They were just waiting on Hallmark to make a movie.

Should Ryan Paevey Star In A Hallmark Mystery?
Perhaps it is time for Ryan Paevey to star in a Hallmark Mystery. On March 6, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are transforming into Hallmark Mystery. That means the network will be airing mysteries 24/7. That could also mean more mystery series.
Since 2023, Hallmark has aired over a dozen different mystery movie series. However, almost all the leading men have been Canadian or from the United Kingdom, with the exception of Mystery Island star Charlie Weber. Of course, Kristoffer Polaha is another American Hallmark Hunk who starred as Detective Travis Burke on Mystery 101. But, that was before 2023.
When Ryan starred in General Hospital, he portrayed Detective Nathan West. Although his character tragically died, Nathan West is considered one of the most iconic characters in the soap’s history.
Even now, fans continuously wonder on social media whether Hallmark Mystery will cast him as a detective in an upcoming mystery, or finally create a longer-running mystery series. His ability to portray stoic and believable law enforcement characters, as well as his dreamy good looks lends him to make a fine addition to any upcoming mystery series.
The network just has to make that call and start the ball rolling.

Besides not having any current acting gigs, Ryan Paevey is dealing with a legal issue. He shared that he had invested with someone who stole all of that money. This is the first time that the Christmas At The Plaza actor has ever had this issue in his acting career. Therefore, he is now suing this entity.

Times have been tough for Ryan Paevey. Waiting for a gig and dealing with a lawsuit is not great. However, fans can support him by purchasing his Fortunate Wanderer jewelry, and his line of t-shirts and sweatshirts. Right now, he has been focused on making his beautiful jewelry, but will soon create more profit centers.
Also, fans can let Hallmark know that they want to see Ryan in future projects such as a mystery or another romcom. The network does read all social media comments and emails.

As someone watches “Two Tickets To Paradise” whenever it airs, yes. He should make more Hallmark movies. I am intrigued by the thought of him doing a mystery. I think that would be a great use of his talent.
When I first started watching Hallmark movies I knew he was the reason. I cannot believe that they are not giving him new movies. He is a wonderful and talented actor! I believe that a lot of people will not be watching Hallmark!! There are so many reruns of the same movies. I know I will not be watching the Hallmark channel until there is a new movie with Ryan in it! Bring back a new Mr. Darcy movie with him and Cindy Busby in it as Elizabeth Darcy.
