What Is Hallmark’s Under The Christmas Sky About?

Hallmark Hunk Ryan Paevey is in a new Christmas movie Under The Christmas Sky. What is this holiday movie about? According to the synopsis, Kat had dreams of becoming an astronaut since she was a young girl. She was on the fast track to this dream career when everything was shattered.

She was in a horrific car accident that left her with a blind spot. This news meant that she had to rethink her life. However, her brother Andy and her parents know how devastating this is and try to keep her busy with all of the fun Christmas activities they can think of. This means baking and decorating cookies, shopping, and decorating the Christmas tree. Yet, this is not giving her any satisfaction. She is “missing her driving spark.”

Andy sees that the local planetarium has an exhibit that he knows Kat would be interested in. She agrees to consult with this exhibit. But, this project that is meant to distract her from her sorrow has a caveat. That is the form of a stodgy curator David. He doesn’t want people outside of their organization to be helping them out. He wants to only work with his inside team.

Can David And Kat Work Together?

Now, David and Kat have to work together. They need the community to be involved, as well as add a Christmas theme. But they both work differently. Thanks to the magic of Christmas, the two find some commonalities. They both love space, and they take this idea and run with it. This holiday exhibit is deemed a success.

This inspires the two to create a bonus event. They decide to host a Santa tracking party on Christmas Eve. This way, they can keep working together and find more ways of sharing their love of space.

“As their time working together comes to a close, and Kat is presented with a job opportunity and a fresh start out of state, their new connection and growing feelings for one another are put to the test as they try to decide just what the future could hold. But, a little Christmas spirit will help these two find their way to happiness on Christmas Day.”
