What Really Happened To Sugar Bear Thompson?

Sugar Bear Thompson tried to make an effort when Mama June Shannon was heavy into her addiction. Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson needed stability and he attempted to be around more. He was seen taking her to get pedicures and trying to appeal to her girlie side. It also seemed that he and Pumpkin’s husband, Josh Efird had worked together but that was all a storyline. Some awful things did come out about Sugar Bear like he had thrown keys at Pumpkin’s eye back in the day. They were filming Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and this transpired but it was covered up by June and production.

He has since divorced his wife, Jennifer Thompson, and gotten a full makeover. Yet, fans are wondering where he is and why he has not been around for pivotal moments. A Reddit thread was started to discuss this. The OP posed these questions:
