Doe Doe Shannon is done with her sister, Mama June Shannon, and her continuous online lies. The two have had a rocky relationship for years but this season, it is so much worse. What is going on with them? Read on for more details.
Mama June Shannon’s Sister Done With Her Online Lies
It has been painted as if Doe Doe Shannon was not there for her family when they needed her the most. Mama June stated that when Anna Cardwell got cancer, Doe Doe was never around. Then, when Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson graduated high school, her aunt was MIA. She claimed she had the dates wrong but that was hard to believe. Doe Doe did stop by after the fact with gifts and such but things have not been the same. According to Meaww, Doe Doe had hoped she could make it up to Alana.
“Pumpkin was going to talk to her. I thought everything was okay. But now you know I get the voicemail and no answers to text messages. I mean, come on, Alana, I love you girl. You know I do.”
Unfortunately, June just added fuel to the fire and sent out messages on social media: “She goes all over social media saying, ‘Oh well, Doe Doe’s not there. We haven’t seen her in months.'” That hurt the aunt who was there for Pumpkin and her babies when June was MIA with her drugs and boys. It was Doe Doe’s daughter who told her she needed to speak up for herself.
“Her mother is throwing out on social media about me. I mean it’s got to be getting in her head. Seriously June, I have been there forever for you and the girls and now you are going to throw the crap out there.”
Even viewers could not understand Mama June’s chronic issues with her sister. They even thought the girls needed to soften.

Back To Normal?
It did seem as if the family came together for Anna Cardwell’s final days. However, Mama June let it be known that she does not see Doe Doe unless they are filming together. Yet, her issues with Doe Doe, who raised her, cannot be her daughters’ issues. If this was an honest mistake, getting the dates wrong, yes it hurts but Alana has to realize there are so many bigger things going on right now. Can she forgive and forget? More so, can June stay off of social media and deal with her issues face-to-face?
