‘RHOBH’ Fans Demand Show Canceled After Integral Story Cut
RHOBH fans demand the show be canceled after an integral story was cut from Season 13. It was bad enough that the real split between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky plays out elsewhere. Now, viewers learned there was much more to the show than they got to see. So, what has them up in arms? Read on for more details.
RHOBH Fans Demand Show Canceled After Integral Story Cut
Kyle Richards’ sexuality and marital demise was front and center this season of RHOBH. Yet, as fans saw, it was much more lackluster than expected. In fact, the more exciting part of her split from Mauricio Umansky seems to play out on his Netflix show, Buying Beverly Hills. She has a lot to answer for during the reunion and Erika Jayne wants her to be “eviscerated” by Andy Cohen. This makes sense as she was in the hot seat after she announced her divorce from Tom Girardi. However, viewers learned one core storyline was cut from the whole season during part one of the reunion.
Newcomer Annemarie Wiley’s focus was on her obsession with Sutton Stracke’s esophagus and what her actual profession was. As it turned out, her mother was dying from lung cancer and it was revealed while cameras were rolling. According to The Sun, Wiley was on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast. There, she explained that not long after filming began, her mom told her about the diagnosis. Per Wiley: “That’s what I was actually dealing with while we were filming.” She also said that she shared it with Kyle and Sutton but the latter threw it in her face.
“I talked to Kyle about it a bit because I knew that she’d understand because of her mom and there was a time when I tried to talk to Sutton about it and she threw it back in my face. She kind of was like, well you’re just using that as an excuse… and that’s when I shut down and was like, ‘I’m not going to talk to these girls about it anymore.'”
Once RHOBH fans heard about this, they were not happy at all and expressed their disdain.
- If it’s true that her mother shared her cancer diagnosis on camera (and sadly passed a few months later)— and production STILL chose not to include this in her story is actually something to be upset about.
- Bravo needs to clean up on aisle nine. Also, Annemarie is not a crazy person, I really think she just has totally different beliefs and views than most of the women.
More Anger
RHOBH viewers were not done there. They had even more anger to express over the situation:
- Them giving to much power to Garcelle and Sutton is gonna be the end of this show. So we cut her important stuff so we could see Sutton’s horse? Or Garcelle doing nothing? #RHOBH next
One noted that many fans love their mothers so this would have given them a common moment to bond over. Unfortunately, it was not enough for Bravo to put on the show and that was very disheartening. At the same time, Annemarie Wiley still has more haters than she does fans so it is not likely she will be back for another season. Bravo is in a lot of hot water right now with lawsuits so who knows what way the wind will blow with any of the shows.
