Bravo Behind Ramona Singer Leaking Leah’s Mental Health Illness?

Ramona Singer and Leah McSweeney were very hot and cold during the latter’s first season of RHONY. She joined in Season 12 and let her freak flag fly. Leah was a young single mother as well as an entrepreneur but she just wanted to have fun. After displaying behavior that OG Singer did not deem appropriate, she brought up to fellow housewives that McSweeney was bipolar. She claimed she learned this from her friends who found it out on the Internet. Additionally, she claimed that if Leah was on medication, she should not be drinking.

When Leah found this out, she was livid because she did not think it was Ramona’s story to tell. Furthermore, she felt Ramona knew it would be on the show and become a public storyline. Now, according to Radar, Leah believes that Bravo and Singer worked together to out her mental health issues. She has just come out with a lawsuit that names Andy Cohen and now, Ramona, as well. Though she is not being sued, this is what has been suggested:

“Upon information and belief, Defendants colluded with fellow RHONY cast member, Ramona Singer (‘Singer’), to ‘out’ Ms. McSweeney’s confidential bipolar disorder diagnosis before Ms. McSweeney disclosed it publicly.”

Leah went on to say that Ramona Singer “maliciously rumored to other cast members that Ms. McSweeney suffered from bipolar disorder.” Additionally:

“Singer stated that Ms. McSweeney’s behavior while drinking could be attributed to both Ms. McSweeney’s bipolar diagnosis and falsely posited that Ms. McSweeney abused her bipolar prescription medication by combining that prescription with alcohol.”

While on the show, and trying to clear up the narrative Ramona had created, Leah explained she had been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 when she was 30. Eventually, she did a post about it. However, at the time, she was not on medication so Singer was very misinformed. With this information coming out, it was detrimental to McSweeney’s mental health.

Ramona’s No Angel

Now, Ramona Singer is no angel on her own accord. She was called out for using a racial slur in Season 13 which caused there to be a halt in the reunion. It never aired and then a Vanity Fair article came out about issues with Housewives and Bravo. When Singer was contacted about her racism, she tried to defend herself but proceeded to use a racial slur which caused a big stir. She was not allowed at BravoCon 2023 for her RHUGT Legacy panel. Then, she was fired from her real estate job so she does what she wants when she wants.
