March is here and Netflix has a new Lindsay Lohan romcom that is full of the luck of the Irish. Her fun new movie is called Irish Wish. This is her second movie working with director Janeen Damian, and producer, and Young and The Restless favorite, Michael Damian. They are behind Paris Christmas Waltz, and the original, Christmas Waltz.

What Is Lindsay Lohan’s New Movie Irish Wish About?

Lindsay Lohan is starring in her second Netflix romcom. What is Irish Wish about? According to Variety, this is what this romcom is about.

When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set up to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.

When Maddie meets a “charismatic wedding photographer” (Ed Speelers), she questions what she wishes for. Starring along with Lindsay and Ed are Alexander Vlahos, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan, and Ayesha Curry.

Irish Wish was filmed on location in Wicklow, Ireland. Therefore, expect something scenic and wonderful from the Damians.

Young And The Restless Star Michael Damian Producing And Janeen Damian Directing The New Lindsay Lohan RomCom

To Young and the Restless fans, Michael Damian will always be Danny Romalotti. But, he and Janeen have created an amazing career of directing and producing many sumptuous romcoms.

Irish Wish Has Hallmark DNA

Lindsay Lohan’s new Netflix romcom Irish Wish has Hallmark DNA. It was written by Chesapeake Shores writer and producer Kirsten Hansen, Sir Ron Oliver the director behind Christmas At The Plaza, and writer behind Jolly Good Christmas.

Just recently, Ron wrote about this project on his Instagram. “Sir Ronald is proud to have had a hand in writing the script for this charming throwback fantasy rom com, and even more proud of Ms. Lohan’s ascension to her rightful place in our cinematic hearts.”
