‘ABP’ Matt Brown Heading Out For New Mountain Adventure
Former Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown returned to Instagram earlier this month after a short absence, and he has some big news for his fans. Not only is Matt back on Instagram to deliver his regular updates, but he is also about to head back up Chopaka Mountain for another adventure. This means big things for fans who have followed him for a long time.

Matt Brown Heading Back Up Chopaka Mountain
Matt Brown has been gone from Alaskan Bush People for a long time now. However, with the show going through a year-plus absence from the Discovery Channel, he is often more visible than his family. This is thanks to his Instagram channel, where he checks in with his sobriety videos. It is also thanks to his YouTube channel, where he often chronicles his adventures.
Now, Matt is heading out for another adventure. On Thursday, Matt revealed that he is heading back up to Chopaka Mountain on Friday. As anyone who has followed him knows, this means a new long-form video is likely coming.
In the Instagram post, Matt explained that his friends have helped him get his truck ready for the trip. He is all packed up, and the engine problems he dealt with have been either fixed or patched up. He also said he is dealing with anxiety as he heads back up. The good news is that he said this is a normal feeling for him every time he goes back up onto the mountain.
Matt Brown Loves Chronicling His Mountain Adventures
Matt Brown released a series of long-form videos in the exact same month that Alaskan Bush People premiered its last season. While Discovery fans watched Bear move his family up a mountain, Noah set out to find a new home in Alaska, and Snowbird learned she had a tumor, Matt had his own adventure he let fans watch.

Matt took a trip to Chopaka Mountain then as well. It was a huge adventure for him. He had a small accident on the way up the mountain and messed up his truck. He finally made it to his cabin, but when he went out on an excursion, he returned to find a large bear between him and the cabin. it was, indeed, an adventure.
Matt went out again last year and released a very different video for his Alaskan Bush People fans to enjoy. Instead of bears and truck accidents, that last trip saw Matt just exploring the mountain wilderness and allowed fans to come along with him. It was mostly a relaxing look at some beautiful mountainland.
