There have been a number of sneak peeks into the Lifetime documentary. Many of the moments that have been shared are intense and dramatic. However, a recently released clip shows a touching moment between Wendy Williams and an unexpected friend. A video shared with People shows Angela “Blac Chyna” White dropping in to check on Wendy during a difficult time in her life.
In the clip, she tells Wendy that she wants to be there for her in whatever way she can. Blac Chyna has been open with Wendy Williams about her substance abuse in the past and tells Wendy that she wants to support her.
“You’ve always been like, honest with me, and put me in my place, in the most motherly, kind way,” Blac Chyna opens up to Wendy while they sit on the couch together.
“That’s why I love you so much, because even when I was going through my darkest times you never used that against me,” she says to Wendy in the clip. “That’s how you know that the love is genuine and it’s always going to be there. And I’m going to always be here for you, straight up.”

Wendy, who is known for her iconic glam looks and wigs, takes off her wig during the exchange, revealing her real hair. She also takes the opportunity to show Blac Chyna her feet, which have been misshapen from her battle with lymphedema.
Towards the end of the filmed exchange, Wendy reveals her real name: Wendy Hunter. “My real name is Wendy Hunter. Yup. And I’m divorced. He’s got no money,” she blurts out, to which Chyna responds, “I love you.” Wendy replies, “So do I” before the pair share a hug.
Blac Chyna & Wendy Williams: An Unlikely Friendship
The tender and touching moment may surprise some people who know about Chyna and Wendy’s history.
Their friendship initially blossomed out of gossip. Blac Chyna appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to set the record straight about the things that were said about her in the “Hot Topics” segment of the show.

“We talk about you a lot on Hot Topics,” Wendy said to Blac Chyna. “You’re very controversial.” She responded, “Thank you.” After that, the pair formed a real-life bond off-camera.
