Hugh Hefner’s Widow Details Dying Mansion Animals

When Hugh Hefner was done with his three main girlfriends, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson, three new ladies moved in. Crystal Harris and the Shannon twins took over but it was Harris who outlasted them all. She became engaged to Hef though she did leave briefly but returned to marry him. Admittedly, it was not real love but she defended him to the core and was there until the Playboy mogul passed away. She never said a cross word about him even when other bunnies and exes were coming forward. This included Holly Madison but now, she is finally saying the truth.

She has said some horrid things, including how Hef wanted her hair to be and how he wanted her to look. Crystal also added that she had to be in by 6 pm so she could engage in activities with her husband and now she is talking about animal life. They had a full-on zoo in the backyard of the Playboy Mansion which was sold by RHOBH star, Mauricio Umansky. According to Page Six, the circumstances in which the creatures had to live were horrid. Crystal told People this: “All those animals were so depressed and sad looking, you walk by the cages and you’re just, none of them were happy.”

This was a place that Holly Madison openly enjoyed the most and spent so much time, even considering the animals her children. Crystal Hefner went on to say: “So sad, those little birds. Yeah, I feel like I was constantly crying for everything and everybody there. It was so sad.” Allegedly, they were dying of thirst but the big question is why didn’t she do anything? It seems she felt trapped in her loveless relationship with her much older beau.

Stories Untold

It was not until Secrets of Playboy started airing on A&E that Crystal Hefner validated the twisted tales being told about Hugh Hefner. She admitted nude photos had been taken and kept in the mansion but was ready to get rid of them. After all of the years of horror and denial, she admitted the truth. Now, even Kendra Wilkinson is saying she suffered some but not as bad as the other women in the home. Crystal’s book, Only Say Good Things, is out now.
