According to the synopsis, Hadley Warner is a crime series actress whose show was just canceled. Now, she and her two boys move to a small town, away from the dangerous streets of the big city.
However, they have barely moved in when she finds a dead body. Now, she is embroiled in her first case. That is, if hunky Detective Shawn Caden lets her use her television crime-solving knowledge to good use! She is instantly attracted to him, but he is standoffish. That is because he hates how they portray murder investigations on television. Therefore, he doesn’t respect what she does for a living.
However, Hadley keeps finding clues that are relevant to the investigation. Maybe her TV crime knowledge is not so worthless?
But, can Hadley and Shawn figure out who the killer is, in between starstruck fans wanting to stop and take selfies with her, and Shawn realizing that Hadley is one smart cookie?

The premiere of Crime Time Freefall is on Friday, February 23, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In addition, Peacock subscribers can watch Crime Time Freefall up to 72 hours after the premiere.
