Why Did Fiona Miller Leave When Calls The Heart?
Now that Hallmark has premiered four new episodes of When Calls The Heart Season 11, Hearties are perplexed. They want to know why Fiona Miller left Hope Valley. They explained what happened to the vivacious entrepreneur in the first episode entitled “When Stars Align.”
In this episode, Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett) lets Dr. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) know that Fiona sent a telegram. It turns out she is not returning to Hope Valley because she is involved with the Suffragettes and working alongside her sister to finally bring women their rights.
However, that doesn’t explain why actress Kayla Wallace is missing. It turns out, Erin Krakow knows why Kayla is not a part of WCTH Season 11. What does she reveal?

After the first episode of When Calls The Heart Season 11, Erin Krakow spoke to TV Insider. This season, this publication is hosting a new interview each week. Therefore, they got to the bottom of why Fiona was not on WCTH Season 11 by speaking to the actress and executive producer of the Hallmark series. It turns out, there was a scheduling conflict.
We love Kayla Wallace. We would love for her to be in every episode. Kayla had a really incredible opportunity on another TV series that films out of town. We’re excited for her.
The recent “opportunity” that Erin is referring to is Landman, the latest Taylor Sheridan project. People who don’t know Taylor Sheridan’s name will certainly know his biggest series Yellowstone. Sheridan is one of the hottest showrunners right now. He is behind Lioness, as well as about a dozen other Paramount series.

Now the question that many Hearties may have is whether or not Kayla Wallace will reprise her role as Fiona Miller on When Calls The Heart. Surprisingly, Erin Krakow seemed hesitant to confirm anything. “We are hoping that we’ll be able to have Fiona back for some episodes.” Then she added, “Who knows? But yeah, we truly, truly over the moon thrilled for Kayla.” But, they are happy about her new show and adventure.
