‘BIP’ Romeo Alexander Proposes To Caroline Sullivan
Former Bachelorette contestant Romeo Alexander proposed to Caroline Sullivan at the end of December. She didn’t meet him in any of the Bachelor Nation shows but ran into him in Brooklyn. The way his proposal went down seemed to be unusual and cute and it happened in Central Park.
BIP Season 8 Saw Romeo Alexander Leave With Kira Mengistu
It was Kira who left the island on Bachelor in Paradise but she returned, and with the love triangle of Jill Chin done with, they both went off together to try and make a go of things. For a while, the former Bachelorette hopeful seemed to be okay with Kira. However, cracks started appearing despite their looking happy together in November 2022.
Romeo Alexander and Kira seemed to be all over in mid-December, 2022. During the Reunion for BIP Season 8, they were still good. But later, she claimed that she regretted giving him a second chance. At the time, he said that there are always “two sides to every story.” Interestingly, it seems that he had already met Carline Sillivan months before that. Unless there’s a typo in the year in a report by People, he’d been seeing and dating Caroline since February of that year.
Caroline Sullivan Gets A Surprise Proposal
People Magazine wrote about the proposal that was also shared by Romeo on his Instagram. Some nice photos that were taken by Destination Photographer Avivia Media showed him down on one knee with the lake as a backdrop. In their story about the proposal, the outlet noted how they met:

Bachelor In Paradise star, Romeo Alexander and Caroline started officially dating “two weeks” after they met in a restaurant. The outlet also wrote about the sweet surprise when he proposed. Bachelor Nation fans seem to like how he arranged his proposal. He told Caroline they were going for dinner, but in his pocket, he had her ring ready. As her “sister” was visiting, they decided to “show her around the park.”
Unbeknown to her, Romeo had arranged for Aviva, a destination photographer to take photos of his proposal. Thinking she was busy with another photo shoot, Caroline was surprised when the photographer offered them a quick photo. That’s when the BIP alum suddenly dropped to one knee and caught Caroline totally by surprise in front of the camera. Fortunately, she said yes to Romeo Alexander.
