‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Deals With Pregnancy Scare
1000-Lb Sisters has only been back on TLC for a few weeks. But even so, each episode contains quite a bit of spectacle. In an upcoming episode, Tammy Slaton believes she might be pregnant.
After marrying Caleb Willingham in rehab, Tammy toyed with the idea of starting a family. However, she likely wasn’t quite ready to welcome a baby. After all, she just returned to her family in Kentucky, leaving Caleb behind in rehab.
How exactly will this situation play out onscreen?
Tammy Slaton reveals she might be expecting a baby
When 1000-Lb Sisters first premiered, fans might remember how Amy and Tammy both expressed a desire to get pregnant. However, their weights made it difficult. Amy had bariatric surgery first and went on to have two sons. However, Tammy just received her own bariatric surgery last season.
Could she be pregnant now that her health is in better shape?
“I wanna see if I can conceive,” the reality star tells her doctor in a new clip, as revealed by PEOPLE. “I wanna make sure everything’s healthy down there. I had an IUD put in… it needed to be taken out in 2016. So it’s still in.”
“Tammy’s had an IUD in there for like 12 years. I’m like, are you sure it ain’t permanently attached now? Did it absorb? Can they find it?” Amy Halterman laughs. “I think it’s got a permanent place of residence. It said, ‘B**ch I’ve been here for 12 years, I ain’t moving.’”
Tammy’s physician warns her against the risks of keeping an IUD in for so long, but Tammy says her weight really played a factor in her decision to keep it. It wasn’t worth the health risks to have it removed.
When the physician asks Tammy about her menstrual cycle, the TLC star admits she can’t remember.
“There could be a slight chance I might be pregnant now,” Tammy shares. “I’ve been craving weird things that I’m not normally craving…like water. I’m craving water.”
“B**ch you ain’t pregnant you’re thirsty,” Amy shoots back at her sister. “You’re just thirsty, bitch. Go drink you some water.”
A baby isn’t very likely
More than likely, Tammy Slaton was not actually pregnant during this clip. Fans would have most certainly heard something about a baby, especially after how heavily the media followed Amy Halterman’s two pregnancies.
However, TLC could be keeping the new under wraps. It’s difficult to say, but the truth will come out soon enough.
