Did The Plath Family Spend New Years Together?
Since the Welcome To Plathville stars wrapped up Season 5 in early December, many fans have been trying to keep tabs on the Plath family. Although the season is over, there were several exciting developments during Season 5. With the dynamics shifting in multiple areas, fans beg to know, “How did the Plath family ring in their New Year?”
Welcome To Plathville Family Divides
Over the past few months, viewers have tuned in to watch Welcome To Plathville and the new developments for the Plath family. When the Season 5 finale was on, fans saw information about multiple family divides. Although the family has quarreled over differences of opinion throughout the entirety of the show, the latest season was even more turbulent. Additionally, it showed the deterioration of Kim and Barry’s relationship and the end of Ethan and Olivia’s marriage as well. And, in effect, several other strains happened between the siblings as everyone was faced with new transitions.
Plaths’ Holiday Celebration
Although the family is currently in limbo, fans have questioned if they spent the holidays together. When the Plath kids were growing up, they didn’t put much focus on the Christmas holiday. However, once Kim Plath announced her split from Barry Plath, it opened a new host of opportunities for the seasonal celebration. But this year, Kim shows in Season 5 that she is dating Ken Palmer. Then, she tells her girls about the new development and is met with resistance. However, even though they didn’t necessarily approve of Kim dating, seemingly that rift was set aside for the holidays. In December, Moriah posted pictures of Kim and the younger girls, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy, meeting up for an early Christmas celebration.

Kim And Barry Plath In 2024
Even so, Kim Plath didn’t reveal her New Year’s Eve plans, but assumedly, the budding couple, Kim and Ken, spent their evening arm in arm. On the flip side, Barry Plath is laying low and not saying how he spent his holidays. In general, the patriarch stays fairly quiet about his coming and going overall.
Ethan, Olivia, and Micah
While Ethan and Olivia Plath announced their plans for divorce in the Welcome To Plathville season finale, they have seemingly continued to go their separate ways. As the new year snuck in, Olivia gave a big update and reflection on her difficult past year. But in a Q&A in December, Olivia confirmed she has uprooted herself and her business to the West Coast. Additionally, she chose Los Angeles, CA much like Ethan’s younger brother, Micah Plath. While Olivia and Micah are both furthering their careers in LA, Micah is rumored to be dating more seriously as of late. However, seemingly, no announcement of a significant other for Micah just yet. But he did share a beautiful sunset on December 31 ushering in 2024 in his Instagram Stories.

Ethan, Moriah, Isaac, And Lydia Plath Welcome In 2024
And while Ethan didn’t enter 2024 with Olivia, it isn’t clear how he chose to celebrate New Year’s Eve. But on New Year’s Day Ethan was in a photo with siblings Moriah Plath and Isaac Plath. On Moriah’s Instagram Stories, she shares a photo of them on the slopes on Monday, January 1. Additionally, Lydia Plath teased at the end of Season 5 that she is dating a “Godly man.” Then she adds it is getting increasingly more serious. Likewise, Lydia was then absent from the early Christmas with Kim. When asked about her whereabouts, the family said she was with her boyfriend for the holidays. Although she didn’t share her New Year’s Eve plans, she most likely was next to her new beau and possibly sharing a kiss as 2024 entered.
