On Reddit, a user posted a thread discussing whether TLC is actively hiding information to benefit Kim Plath and the family instead of being open about things that occur. Criticizing the omission of details in Welcome To Plathville Season 5, a heading reads, “Kim’s DUI accident happened in June, same month as divorce announced.” After pointing out the timeline they add, “What else don’t they show us? I watched weeks of lame explanations for the breakup this season, and this happened before filming.
