Bringing Up Bates stars Isaiah and Addallee Bates recently achieved a major milestone. Gil and Kelly Jo Bates even visited the family’s official website to congratulate their kids for their latest accomplishment. The brother-sister duo graduated from their American Sign Language (ASL) school. Many are also proud of them and excited about their future. Bringing Up Bates: Isaiah & Addallee Bates Graduated From ASL

Gil and Kelly Jo recently took to Instagram to announce Isaiah and Addallee’s graduation from American Sign Language School. According to the proud parents, the two have been working so hard studying sign language over the past few months.

Four nights a week they’ve sat through 3 hour long classes, but they’ve truly loved every single second of it! God has opened doors for them to meet so many wonderful people, & they are anxious to continue learning & signing!

Gil and Kelly also commended their son and daughter’s teacher, Jan Swaffer, for her dedication and diligence. The Bringing Up Bates stars even shared a clip of the siblings doing sign language while a choir performs.

Isaiah & Addallee Receive Positive Comments

Isaiah and Addallee’s latest achievement caught the hearts of many Bringing Up Bates fans. Many of the kids had already been taught sign language since they were young. But it seems the siblings wanted to improve their skills even more by attending classes. Some even took to their parents’ latest IG posts to send them positive messages.

  • “Oh my goodness! I’m so proud of you guys being involved in my deaf world! Inclusion is important. Good job signing the story of our savior!” one person said.
  • “I am SO proud of the two of you!!!!!!! You are going to serve God in a mighty way!!!!! Love you both!!” another commenter added.

Isaiah and Addallee’s latest achievement also comes just a few days after the birthday of their late grandmother, Betty Pitcher, who passed away last year. It was reported that she died shortly after being sent to the emergency room and had issues with her lungs.

Bringing Up Bates: What’s Next For Addallee & Isaiah Bates?

Addallee and Isaiah have yet to share what’s next for them after graduating from the ASL school. However, it seems that the two will continue to use the knowledge they learned in their church. The 19-year-old son already has a lot of skills. He sometimes works for his father’s tree excavating company and does construction work at his brother-in-law Chad Paine’s business. The Bringing Up Bates star also graduated from his one-year Bible program at Crown College this year.

Meanwhile, Addallee Bates was born prematurely and suffered partial hearing loss as a child. She grew up using hearing aids. But she gracefully adapted to her condition as she grew. In 2019, Gil and Kelly Jo revealed that hearing aids gave their daughter more confidence and improved her ability to speak and even play the piano.
