Counting On alum Jill Duggar Dillard has been mourning the loss of her daughter, Isla Marie. The 32-year-old mom suffered a miscarriage during the fourth month of her pregnancy. She has already shared photos from her daughter’s funeral. Many were also surprised to see the majority of the Duggar family in attendance amid her estrangement.

Jill previously took to social media to share photos from her daughter’s funeral. The Counting On alum also shared Bible verses as a tribute to Isla Marie. But what caught the attention of many was Jim Bob and Michelle’s appearance during the sad day. Jill has been estranged from her parents for years, especially from her dad.
Some fans also hope that the family’s recent heartbreak will create a bridge for Jim Bob and Jill to continue working towards a healthy relationship. Meanwhile, Michelle has already been spotted spending time with Jill and some of her daughters over the past few months. Many are also glad that she’s still actively seeing her children today.

In an Instagram post, Jill shared an emotional tribute for her daughter as she hits a sad milestone. “I carried you for every second of your life, and I will love you every second of mine,” the former Counting On star said before explaining that it’s been a week since Isla Marie was laid to rest. “We will love you forever Isla Marie!” she added. Jill Duggar Dillard can also be seen crying in the photo as she mourns her second miscarriage. Some fans left strong messages for Derick Dillard’s wife.

Jill recently shared photos from her daughter’s final resting place. The Counting On alum even posted a clip of everyone singing a gospel song during the burial of Isla Marie. Jill Duggar Dillard also revealed that her daughter was laid to rest on April 19, 2024. She also explained that the name Isla comes from a family name that means “Devoted to God,” while Marie means “Wished for Child and Beloved.”
