Ryan Seacrest Gets Emotional & Tear-Filled Over Children
Ryan Seacrest appeared on Good Morning America this week and he had an emotional interview. The future Wheel of Fortune host broke down in tears as he talked about children and one of his big new projects that he is working on.

Ryan Seacrest sat down on Good Morning America and spoke to Will Reeve about his upcoming role on Wheel of Fortune. However, the two also talked about something that had Seacrest in tears. They talked about a passion project that Ryan is working on for his kid’s charities.
Ryan has started a passion project called Seacrest Studios. This features state-of-the-art broadcast studios that he had built inside children’s hospitals. While working with the kids at these hospitals, Ryan said that it is tough to see kids going through such a “hard time” and he feels “the weight of what’s happening.”
Ryan said he would look over and see the looks on the faces of a mom or dad, and he then stopped talking in the interview. He had to take a moment to collect himself and seemed on the verge of tears. He admitted he was getting emotional talking about is and then reiterated that it was tough to watch kids going through this.
“We’ve gotten to know families,” Ryan said. “We’ve gotten to know the kids.” As one example, he said a kid told him it would be a good Christmas because he was getting a new lung. “It was as if he was getting a new bike,” Ryan said. He said it really gets into your emotions.
What is Seacrest Studios?
Seacrest Studios is an interactive space inside pediatric hospitals where young patients can explore the creative aspects of radio, television, and new media. Ryan established this back in 2012. It gives the patients a chance to explore and play interactive games while watching entertainment programs, as well.
These special studios offer patients a way to escape the day-to-day ordeal of their care. Kids can enjoy just being a kid, for at least a short time. The studios feature guest microphones, production-quality video cameras, and radio equipment. This allows kids to take part in video projects. Kids can also watch entertainment in their rooms. They can also request their favorite songs.
There are 14 Seacrest Studios at this time, from California, Utah, Colorado, and Texas to 10 locations in the Eastern part of the United States. They are located in Florida, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Nashville, Memphis, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., Queens, and Boston.
