TLC’s New Series ‘Love & Translation’: Romance Without Words?

The new TLC series introduces viewers to 12 women who are all interested in finding the American man of their dreams. The women come from nine different countries. They, however, share the same problem. They don’t speak English.

In the new series, all 12 of the women will travel to paradise. They will live in a seaside villa together with three American bachelors. During their stay at the villa, no one will have access to a translator. The series poses one simple question: Can they find love without words?

Check out the trailer below:

Howard Lee, the President of Discovery Networks & TLC, said in the press release that the series was a chance to break away from traditional dating set-ups and experiment with something new.

“As a leader in love and relationship series, we wanted to break outside the mold of our day to day and experiment in a new type of setting. LOVE & TRANSLATION will bring that rollercoaster of emotions our audience loves when genuine connections in unconventional relationships spark.”

When Does The Series Premiere?

Fortunately, those interested in giving the series a chance won’t have to wait long. Love & Translation is set to premiere on Sunday, January 21st at 10 P.M. ET/PT only on TLC. Those without TLC will likely be able to watch the series the day after it airs via Max.
