‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Slammed For Piercing Son’s Ears
Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry is under fire after sharing photos of her son, Creed, on social media. She shared a snapshot of her sons playing together but fans noticed something odd about the three-year-old’s appearance. Keep reading to see why her followers are so upset.
Kailyn Lowry’s Family Continues To Grow
This isn’t the first time that Kailyn Lowry’s parenting has been questioned. In fact, people have been criticizing the fact that her family is continuing to grow, despite her struggles in her relationships.
She shares her son Isaac with her ex Jo Rivera and son Lincoln with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin. Kailyn had Lux and Creed with her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez. Last November, she gave birth to another boy, Rio, who she shares with her boyfriend Elijah Scott.
Arguably, she has had her hands full raising five boys and, in early November, she welcomed twins into the world. It was confirmed by The U.S. Sun that she had one boy and one girl.
Recently, Kailyn Lowry has been sharing a lot of photos of her family. On Friday, she shared a picture of her 11-month-old Rio.

Creed, Isaac, Lux, and Lincoln all looked at their baby brother adoringly in the photo. They wore matching t-shirts that said “NICU Lives Matter.”
The Teen Mom star captioned the snapshot, “#Worldprematurityday for Isaac, Rio & all the premature babies.” It seems the more Kailyn Lowry puts herself in the spotlight, the more she opens herself up to criticism though.
Teen Mom Fans Slam Kailyn For Choices She Is Making For Her Kids
The photo showed Isaac, 13, and Creed, 3, playing together on the bed. The two brothers were playing with Spider-Man and Miles Morales. However, fans weren’t impressed with the touching scene.
Instead, a few followers noticed something changed about Creed’s appearance. The three-year-old has newly pierced ears, which could be seen with his slightly turned head. People quickly took the discussion to Reddit to slam Kailyn Lowry for her parenting.

“I don’t think it’s cruel, but I don’t think it’s necessary,” one person wrote in the thread discussing Kailyn’s decision to allow her son to get his ears pierced.
Others thought that having pierced ears should be saved until the boy was older. “Earrings are cute, but I feel like they should be reserved for an older age,” one comment read.
A few people questioned how safe a piercing like that might be for such a young boy. “The piercing is gonna move and eventually either reject or be super crooked,” another person pointed out.
Several people made assumptions that Kailyn Lowry did the piercing herself at home. “The disposable guns you can buy online are so dangerous and not sanitary,” wrote one person. It isn’t clear as to whether or not the piercing was done by a professional.
