Party Of Five fans have been eagerly anticipating the Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf Hallmark Christmas movie, A Merry Scottish Christmas. However, many are asking whether the pair are love interests in this new Countdown To Christmas movie.

Are Lacey Chabert & Scott Wolf Playing Love Interests In Hallmark’s A Very Scottish Christmas?
For nearly six months now, Party of Five fans have been excitedly waiting for the premiere of Hallmark’s new Christmas movie A Merry Scottish Christmas. But, will the characters who portrayed siblings Claudia and Bailey Salinger in the classic series be love interests in the upcoming Hallmark movie?
According to Deadline, they are not. Moreover, that was always their intention and they let Hallmark know. Lacey explained, “He and I both said that from the beginning, as did everyone else. It was never anyone’s idea for us to be love interests in the movie.” Then the Christmas Waltz star said what all fans thought.
No one wants to see that!

Next, Lacey clarified their intention. “We are forever brother and sister, and I was really happy that Hallmark was willing to embrace that being the corer of the story.”
As Hallmark has made some major changes to their format to include friendship movies like The Santa Summit and Never Been Chris’d, as well as comedies like Haul Out The Holly, and Three Wise Men and A Baby, they were open to a movie based on a sibling relationship.
However, this is Hallmark and there will be a romance as well. “While there are romantic storylines in the film that are important and beautiful, having the brother-sister relationship and the way they sort of find each other again as they get this news about their family in Scotland was really important to us.”

A Very Scottish Christmas Has Party Of Five Easter Eggs
Besides the Party Of Five reunion of Lacey and Scott in this Hallmark Christmas movie, fans can expect some Easter eggs throughout. Chabert explained, “There are some Easter eggs to Party Of Five in the movie if you watch really carefully.”
Most of all, Lacey and Scott really enjoyed their time together in Scotland, filming this new holiday movie.
